What is 2023 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier?
The 2023 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier is a cricket tournament in which two finalists will qualify for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
First, there were two smaller tournaments in Asia, one in Malaysia and one in Qatar, in July and September 2023. Malaysia won all their matches in the Malaysia tournament(Qualifier B) and went to the next round. Kuwait won the Qatar tournament(Qualifier A) and also went to the next round after beating Saudi Arabia in the final match.
In the next round, Kuwait and Malaysia are playing against Nepal, Oman, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. These teams either played in previous T20 World Cup qualifiers or made it to the first round in the last T20 World Cup.
This final round is happening in Nepal from October 30 to November 5, 2023. The top two teams from this round will qualify for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

There were total 5 teams in the Qualifier B.

Who was the winner of Qualifier A ?
All the 4 teams played total of 6 matches with each other (2 each).Kuwait and Saudi Arabia were the top 2 amongst them.Kuwait won the final on 5th october 2023 by 4 wickets.
Who was the winner of Qualifier B ?
All the 5 teams played total of 4 matches with each other (1 each). Malaysia and Thailand were the top 2 amongst them.Malaysia won the final on 1st August 2023 by 7 wickets.
How many teams are there in 2023 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier?
There are total of 8 teams which are divided in two groups (4 each) that are taking part in the tournament and top two teams from this round will qualify for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Group A consists of Oman, Nepal, Singapore and Malaysia
Group B consists of United Aran Emirates,Bahrain, Kuwait and Hong Kong
Total of 4 matches are left in the tournament from the league stage .All of them will be played on 2nd november 2023.
From Group A , 1st match is between Nepal vs Oman and 2nd Match between Malaysia vs Singapore
From Group B , 1st match is Hong Kong vs UAE and 2nd Match between Bahrain vs Kuwait
Both the semi final’s will be played on 3 november 2023 between A1 vs B2 at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur
Second semi final will be played between A2 vs B1 at Mulpani Cricket Ground, Kathmandu
Final of ICC Mens T20I World Cup Asia Finals 2023 :
Winner of both the match will play the Finals on 5th november at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur
