IPL 2024 Auction : You all must be confused after seeing so many news that which team has retained which player and which player has been released. Now which team has how much money left in its purse to buy further players? You will get to know everything in this article.

Hardik Pandya has joined Mumbai Indians, and the team paid a lot of money for it(INR 15 crore). They also gave away Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore for a big amount (INR 17.5 crore).

Let’s look at each team and see which players they let go, kept, traded, and who is currently in their squads. This is how things are on Deadline Day before the IPL 2024 Auction, which will happen on December 19.

RCB has released almost all its bowlers, which include Wanindu Hasarangha, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood, David Willey, Wayne Parnell. RCB will prepare its new bowling unit in the auctions. Which has proven to be its biggest weakness through out all the seasons.
They made the Hardik Pandya swap between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) even more interesting by including Australian all-rounder Cameron Green in the deal, from Mumbai Indians for INR 17.50 crore.

Kolkata Knight Riders decided to keep their West Indian players, Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, for another season. But they said goodbye to Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur( 10.75 crore). They’re making big changes in their bowling team by releasing Lockie Ferguson, Tim Southee, Umesh Yadav, Shakib Al Hasan, and Bangladesh opener batsman Litton Das. It looks like a fresh start for their bowling squad in the upcoming season.

Hardik Pandya left Gujarat Titans and joined Mumbai Indians. Now, Shubman Gill is the new captain of Gujarat Titans. The team also let go of players like wicketkeeper KS Bharat, Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka, and West Indies players Alzarri Joseph and Odean Smith, among others.
On appointing Shubhman Gill captain of Gujarat Titans , Vikram Solanki, director of cricket, Gujarat Titans, said “Shubman Gill has shown growth in stature and standing over the last two years at the highest level of the game. We’ve seen him mature not only as a batter but also as a leader in cricket.”

CSK has retained MS Dhoni and told cricket fans that Dhoni will play one more season of IPL and the fans of CSK as well as the fans of other teams are also happy. Whichever ground Dhoni plays on, it seems as if it is his home ground, such is the aura of a player in all over India.
Chennai Super Kings have not included some notable players in their team, such as Ben Stokes (who withdrew) and Ambati Rayudu (who retired). Additionally, players like Subhranshu Senapati, Sisanda Magala, and Kyle Jamieson are also not part of the team.

Since Harry Brook didn’t perform well last season despite being paid a lot (13.25 crore rupees), Sunrisers Hyderabad decided not to keep him. They also released his English teammate Adil Rashid. Brook only scored 190 runs in 11 games for the team, and most of those runs (100) came in just one match. Along with this, SRH has also released Akeal Hosein of West Indies.
